| Computer Art is a course for majors and non-majors. It is generally held in May Term. During the first several days of this course the students are introduced to different kinds of expression which use the computer as the primary tool. After this, the students pick a project which they would like to do. The course then becomes a lab course in which students learn the applications necessary for their project and complete the project. Some group help sessions are held for people dealing with similar issues, but most of the learning in the course comes from one-on-one instructor help and assistance from fellow students. There are several group reviews of the projects during the course, and a final critique during the final meeting time. | ![]() |

from Past Terms: Some of the most interesting projects in this course have been interactive programs that are too big to fit on the web. Stop by Payne's office and pick up a CD to check these out. |
