Here are photos from Week One of the 2006 Wartburg/IBA Summer Broadcasting Workshop, held at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa from July 17-21, 2006.
A total of 18 students from five different states attended the week-long workshop.

Group 1: (Top) Brandon Spiegel '06, Engelwood, CO and Ally Huffman '08, Pella, IA; (Middle) Counselor Michelle Caldwell '08, Washington, IA; (Bottom) Aaron Trier '07, Washington, IA and Becca Arnold '07, LaCygne, KS.
(This is typically not how we use an A/V cart.)
Group 2: (L to R) Spencer Gray '06, Indianola, IA; Stacy White '07, Plainfield, IA; Marcus Taplin '07, Granada, MN; Karalee Allen '07, Minburn, IA; Sam Dorrance '09, Waverly, IA: and Counselor Jimmy Vowell '07, Nashua, IA.
(The TV Studio was once the college's choir hall, and the spirit of singers from the past is sometimes too much to fight off.)
Group 3: (Back, L to R) Steven Oliveri '07, Crystal Lake, IL; Braedi Brackey '07, Lake Mills, IA; Counselor Kate Elliott '09, Lamont, IA; Crystal Klein '07, Brooklyn, IA; and Philip Johnson '08, Rockford, IL. (Front) Andrew Bridgewater '08, Van Horne, IA.
(Don't mess with THIS group if you see them in a dark alley...they look VERY tough! Either that, or they have watched too many videos on MTV.)
Group 4: (L to R) Maureen Morton '07, Palatine, IL; David Maixner '09, Waverly, IA; Counselor Amanda Lundberg '08, Dayton, IA; Isaac Slings '07, Altoona, IA; and Alexa Savka '07, Manning, IA.
(How it was determined who should be "see no evil", who should be "say no evil", and who should be "hear no evil" is a mystery. Why they would pose this way is even more of a mystery.)
At Large Counselors: (L to R) Ashley Weets '06, Lost Nation, IA; Casey Luensmann '07, Manchester, IA; and Karen Connelly '06, Cedar Falls, IA.
(We understand the love for Dr. Stein, and for Odie...but for "Odo-Ban"?)
